The view from my perch is as inspirational as the Alchemist. The character Santiago reached his destination facing ups and downs and devastating defeats. I like this book because of its poetic and picturesque language and magnificent language. The title itself gives the picture of a bird. The symbol of bird come in other occasion also the bird falcon, the national bird of UAE represents survival, training honor and statesmanship. 

Some incidents in the book make us laugh. The high school teacher who taught all subjects except Hindi, and chicken stolen incident interesting scenes. The book gives great lessons to the disappoint failures of life. The sentence connected with the closing of the office in Thamarassery and the missing of the job in Gramin bank is inspirational to youngsters. Some events in life are very painful when they happen and we have to go through hell while they lost, but when we look back at the timeline of life, they seem like blessings that triggered our move to much bigger, greater things. The sentence written about the strict professor also is beautiful. The professor’s method was bitter, but the outcome was sweet. The great lesson that I learnt and could already use in my life is this – If an employee wishes to leave the organization, part with them on the best of terms, even if they have been treated badly and unfairly.
Yet another lesson is from the legal against EU. The time and effort spent on legal challenges could be better utilized for more productive initiatives. The spirit of mother pervades all throughout the book. None will forget her love and consideration. The influence of her philosophy of life is well portrayed in the book. She knew that trappings of riches and affluence mean little and that all human beings are equal and need to be treated with equal respect and dignity. She has exemplified her philosophy of life.
The book pictures the heart bond relationships of husband and wife, and parents and their children. I am happy to get an opportunity to read this gospel of young entrepreneurs. It’s a gem of wisdom and wings of youths to dream, fly, and perch on the highest tree that touches rainbow in the sky.
